Introduction

There are several items, activities, and achievements that are locked behind a tiered progress. This guide is to provide a shorthand on the order to do them. This does not include the requirement to purchase a Camel before entering Wrentmark.

Skiing

Skiing is an Agility activity centered around Jarvonia. Note: The Rescue team activity in the Horn of Respite) also requires any skis equipped, but benefits from higher quality skis. The activity chain progresses as follows:

You’ve now unlocked the use of the following:

Five “shortcut” routes exist in Jarvonia that are only open to players wearing skis and have Agility at level 25. They are as follows:

These shortcuts takes you from Frostbite Mountain to Azurazera in 2255 base steps; without skis, the trek is 2939 base steps

Cave Bats

The cave bat line is a line of steps that will result in the player exploring southern Jarvonia and end up in Grand Duchy of Trellin-Erdwise (GDTE).

You have now unlocked Summer cave foraging in Bog Top. This requires Agility level 50 and equipping two light sources. You can return to Jarvonia without the Jarvonian Letter of Passage, which is sold at Fort of Permafrost, but without it, the only viable routes to leave Jarvonia again are Spring Bat Tracking or through Syrenthia.

Items with the Light source Keyword include the following:

For Foraging activities, the best items are the Gem shield (so as to not occupy any other equipment slot) and Fireflies in a jar (for the bonus to Foraging activities), although any of the above equipment will suffice for the Light source requirements.

Skydiscs

The Skydisc courses and equipment are also Agility activities. This is currently split between Jarvonia and Grand Duchy of Trellin-Erdwise (GDTE).

Note: Clay skydiscs can also be picked up from items and activities that pick up Trash. Currently there are two items and five activities that allow you to pick up Random Pieces of Junk while doing various activities Equipment

Swimming and Diving Gear

Swimming is also an Agility activity, although this is centered around both Grand Duchy of Trellin-Erdwise (GDTE) and Syrenthia. It requires the player to equip various levels of Diving Gear, and progresses as follows:

You’ve now unlocked the use of the following, which are crafted out of Hydrilium (itself made from Hardened kelp and Volcanic rock! Congrats! With Hydrilium Diving Gear, you can now access all parts of Syrenthia, including Darktide Trench:

Additionally, Diving Gear or the various swimming activities unlocks or enables the following:

With Advanced Diving Gear, you can now do:

Other Diving Gear also exists, and can be found while doing various activities; the only ones that cannot be bypassed are the Rusty Diving items, but the rest require significant effort to acquire.

Other Locked Progression

Five achievements and several miscellaneous items exist that require you to complete specific activities a certain number of times. These are largely not tied to other requirements, so they may be easy to miss. This does not include any items that require a specific faction reputation, only items and achievements that require activities to be completed.

Collectibles

Six Collectibles exist that open up the ability to travel to otherwise restricted locations, open up shortcuts, or enable access to artisan services.
