Skiing is an Agility activity centered around Jarvonia. Note: The Rescue team activity in the Horn of Respite) also requires any skis equipped, but benefits from higher quality skis. The activity chain progresses as follows:
* Acquire Birch skis through Cut birch trees, Cut pine trees, Forest foraging, or purchasing them for 31 Coins from JarvoJoy in Frusenholm. These shortcuts takes you from Frostbite Mountain to Azurazera in 2255 base steps; without skis, the trek is 2939 base steps
== Cave Bats == | |||
| |||
The cave bat line is a line of steps that will result in the player exploring southern Jarvonia and end up in Grand Duchy of Trellin-Erdwise (GDTE).
* Purchase the Black eye peak wilderness permit. This can be purchased for 100 Adventurers%27 guild token from the Adventurers%27 Guild Outpost in the Horn of Respite
* Complete Spring cave foraging in Winter%27s End 10 times. This requires Agility level 35 and equipping an item with the Light source Keyword
* Complete Spring bat tracking in Winter%27s End once. This requires Agility level 35 and equipping two Light sources. Upon completion, you will get the Essence of the swamp collectible.
You have now unlocked Summer cave foraging in Bog Top. This requires Agility level 50 and equipping two light sources. You can return to Jarvonia without the Jarvonian Letter of Passage, which is sold at Fort of Permafrost, but without it, the only viable routes to leave Jarvonia again are Spring Bat Tracking or through Syrenthia.
Items with the Light source Keyword include the following:
* Hand lantern | |||
* Simple torch | |||
* Glowstick | |||
* Mining helmet | |||
* Fireflies in a jar | |||
* Candlehat | |||
* Angler gloves | |||
* Silver sun stone ring | |||
* Gold sun stone ring | |||
* Gem shield | |||
For Foraging activities, the best items are the Gem shield (so as to not occupy any other equipment slot) and Fireflies in a jar (for the bonus to Foraging activities), although any of the above equipment will suffice for the Light source requirements.
== Skydiscs == | |||
| |||
The Skydisc courses and equipment are also Agility activities. This is currently split between Jarvonia and Grand Duchy of Trellin-Erdwise (GDTE).
* Acquire the Clay skydisc; this is easiest by purchasing it for 21 Coins from JarvoJoy in Frusenholm.
* Complete the Jarvonia skydisc course in Barbantok 10 times. This requires at least Agility at level 10.
* Acquire the Golden skydisc; this is purchased for 500 Coins from JarvoJoy in Frusenholm. This requires at least Agility at level 10 and completing the Jarvonia skydisc course at least 10 times, which is why you couldn’t skip it.
* Complete the GDTE skydisc course in Bilgemont Port 25 times. This requires at least Agility at level 25.
* Acquire the Red skydisc; this is a drop from the GDTE skydisc course with a base rate of 1.52%, and requires Agility at level 40
* Acquire the Pincushion beret; this is a drop from the Tailoring chest with a base rate of 0.399%, and requires Tailoring at level 50 to use
Note: Clay skydiscs can also be picked up from items and activities that pick up Trash. Currently there are two items and five activities that allow you to pick up Random Pieces of Junk while doing various activities
Equipment | |||
* Sticky finger shorts can be acquired while doing Plains foraging at either Casbrant Fields or Norsack Plains.
* Trash grabber is earned upon reaching 45 Achievement Points
Activities | |||

Swimming is also an Agility activity, although this is centered around both Grand Duchy of Trellin-Erdwise (GDTE) and Syrenthia. Five achievements and several miscellaneous items exist that require you to complete specific activities a certain number of times. These are largely not tied to other requirements, so they may be easy to miss. Introduction
There are several items, activities, and achievements that are locked behind a tiered progress. This guide is to provide a shorthand on the order to do them. This does not include the requirement to purchase a Camel before entering Wrentmark.
Skiing
Skiing is an Agility activity centered around
Jarvonia. Note: The
Rescue team activity in the
Horn of Respite) also requires any skis equipped, but benefits from higher quality skis. The activity chain progresses as follows:
- Acquire
Birch skis through
Cut birch trees,
Cut pine trees,
Forest foraging, or purchasing them for 31
Coins from
JarvoJoy in
Frusenholm. These require at least
Agility at level 5.
- Complete
Classic skiing in
Casbrant Fields 50 times
- Acquire
Pine skis by purchasing them for 71
Coins from
JarvoJoy in
Frusenholm. These require at least
Agility at level 15 and completing Classic skiing 50 times. Pine skis are not required but provide +16%
Work efficiency, compared to the Birch Skis’ +7%
Work efficiency
- Complete
Skate skiing in
Noiseless Pass 50 times
You’ve now unlocked the use of the following:
Oak skis (purchasable for 71
Coins from
JarvoJoy in
Frusenholm)
Bert's super-skis ((purchasable for 750
Adventurers' guild token from the
Adventurers' Guild Outpost in the
Horn of Respite)
Five “shortcut” routes exist in Jarvonia that are only open to players wearing skis and have Agility at level 25. They are as follows:
Frostbite Mountain ↔
Kallaheim
Kallaheim ↔
Nurturing Nook Springs
Nurturing Nook Springs ↔
Casbrant Fields
Casbrant Fields ↔
Azurazera
Frusenholm ↔
Fort of Permafrost
These shortcuts takes you from Frostbite Mountain to Azurazera in 2255 base steps; without skis, the trek is 2939 base steps
Cave Bats
The cave bat line is a line of steps that will result in the player exploring southern Jarvonia and end up in
Grand Duchy of Trellin-Erdwise (GDTE).
- Purchase the
Black eye peak wilderness permit. This can be purchased for 100
Adventurers' guild token from the
Adventurers' Guild Outpost in the
Horn of Respite
- Complete
Spring cave foraging in
Winter's End 10 times. This requires Agility level 35 and equipping an item with the
Light source Keyword
- Complete
Spring bat tracking in
Winter's End once. This requires Agility level 35 and equipping two
Light sources. Upon completion, you will get the
Essence of the swamp collectible.
You have now unlocked Summer cave foraging in
Bog Top.
Hand lantern
Simple torch
Glowstick
Mining helmet
Fireflies in a jar
Candlehat
Angler gloves
Silver sun stone ring
Gold sun stone ring
Gem shield
For Foraging activities, the best items are the
Gem shield (so as to not occupy any other equipment slot) and
Fireflies in a jar (for the bonus to Foraging activities), although any of the above equipment will suffice for the Light source requirements.
Skydiscs
The Skydisc courses and equipment are also Agility activities. This is currently split between
Jarvonia and
Grand Duchy of Trellin-Erdwise (GDTE).
- Acquire the
Clay skydisc; this is easiest by purchasing it for 21
Coins from
JarvoJoy in
Frusenholm.
- Complete the
Jarvonia skydisc course in
Barbantok 10 times. This requires at least
Agility at level 10.
- Acquire the
Golden skydisc; this is purchased for 500
Coins from
JarvoJoy in
Frusenholm. This requires at least
Agility at level 10 and completing the Jarvonia skydisc course at least 10 times, which is why you couldn’t skip it.
- Complete the
GDTE skydisc course in
Bilgemont Port 25 times. This requires at least
Agility at level 25.
- Acquire the
Red skydisc; this is a drop from the
GDTE skydisc course with a base rate of 1.52%, and requires
Agility at level 40
- Acquire the
Pincushion beret; this is a drop from the
Tailoring chest with a base rate of 0.399%, and requires
Tailoring at level 50 to use
Note: Clay skydiscs can also be picked up from items and activities that pick up Trash. Currently there are two items and five activities that allow you to pick up Random Pieces of Junk while doing various activities
