Keywords

Keywords are how the game classifies and checks requirements on activities, items, achievements, etc. Keywords are grouped into the following categories.

Equipment Keywords

These are keywords that help categorize the gear and tools. They generally have two purposes in addition to aiding searching and categorization, also note that the same keyword can be used for both purposes.

The first are "Activity Keywords" which are a requirement to start an activity. For example, the activity Mine copper ore has a keyword requirement of a Pickaxe. This means that you must have an item with the keyword "Pickaxe" equipped to do that activity.

The second are "Banned Keywords" which are a limit how many of a type of tool you can equip at once. Note that this is "banned" in the sense that you are banned from using two at once, not from using it at all. For example, Foraging tool is a banned keyword. You are only allowed to equip one foraging tool at a time. If you have a Copper sickle equipped, you cannot also equip a Dull machete as they both have the Foraging tool Keyword.

These are keywords that categorize types of Materials and may also be used for achievements.

Misc. Keyword

These are keywords that are similar to material keywords in function but for other item types.

• Pet egg

Consumable Keywords

These are keywords that categorize types of consumables and may also be used for achievements.

• Alcohol

Location Keywords

These are keywords that categorize types of Locations you can travel to and how item attributes can be applied.

• Desert Location
• Spectral Location
• Underwater Location

Service Keywords

These are keywords that categorize types of Services you can use during artisan recipes.

• Forge - For Smithing
• Kitchen - For Cooking
• Sawmill - For Carpentry
• Trinketry Bench - For Trinketry
• Workshop - For Crafting
• Cursed - For Cursed Services

Activity Keywords

These keywords define different types of activities for tracking in achievements.

• Fishing - Most all activities in the Fishing skill.
• Mining ores - Mostly activities of the "Mine ______ Ore" type.
• Plant foraging - Most activities in the Foraging skill.
• Woodcutting trees - Mostly activities of the "Cut ______ Trees" type.

Recipe Keywords

These keywords define different types of recipes for tracking in achievements.

• Cooking recipe - Most all recipes in the Cooking skill.
• Sandwich recipe - Recipes that produce a sandwich.
• Smelting - Recipes that process ore to bars.

Regional Keywords

These keywords define items that work only in certain regions or have regional requirements for attributes. Used primarily for searching.

• Jarvonia - For the Jarvonia Faction
• Syrenthia - For the Syrenthia Faction
• GDTE - For the GDTE Faction
• Trellin - For the Trellin Faction
• Erdwise - For the Erdwise Faction
• Halfling Rebels - For the Halfling Rebels Faction
• Swamp - For the The Swamp

Weight Keywords

These are keywords that affect the maximum stack size of that item in your inventory. For example, "Heavy" is a weight keyword that limits stack size to 1.

• Ultra light - Stack Size of 9999
• Light - Stack Size of 999
• Heavy - Stack Size of 1

Gear Set Keywords

These are keywords that group families of items and can be used to limit some attributes or for routes and activity requirements.

These are items that have been suggested by "Cult Leader" tier supporters, and cosmetics designed by "Cult Follower" tier supporters.
