The Devs are the creators of Walkscape.

Schamppu

Schamppu
Role: Not a CEO

The CEO and lead programmer of Walkscape. Schamppu started work on WalkScape in 2022 with his project to create a game that he wanted to play, but which didn't exist yet. After posting some of his ideas and early work-in-progress on Reddit, the project started to quickly gather a community around it. in 2023 Schamppu founded the indie game company "Not a Cult Oy", which is definitely not a cult, to develop Walkscape.

Maxchill

Maxchill
Role: Not an Artist

The lead artist of Walkscape. Maxchill is responsible for (almost) all of the awesome pixel art used in the game, including the dev images on this very page. He is also a major member of the content team along with Weasel helping to make and add new items, activities, pets, etc. into the game.

Myzozoz

Myzozoz
Role: Not a Dev

The second programmer and developer added to the Not a Cult team in 2024. Myzozoz has been working hard on the portal, game servers, OTA mechanism and some exciting upcoming features like the party system and trading.

Weasel

Weasel
Role: Not a Designer

The prolific walker and content team member. Weasel is most at home walking on his walkpad hard at work along with Maxchill on the content development adding new items, activities, and everything else into the game.

Crushy

Crushy
Role: Not a Dev

The third programmer and developer and latest addition to the Not a Cult team in late 2025. Crushy has been getting up to speed on the games code base and working on secret projects.
